Historic Camden includes a 107-acre outdoor museum complex offering a window into life in Colonial and Revolutionary times. Featured are circa 1800 log houses containing exhibits and historical vignettes, the restored 1785 John Craven house, a blacksmith with working forge, reconstruction of the fortifications built during British occupation, and the reconstructed colonial Georgian house built by Joseph Kershaw and occupied by Lord Charles Cornwallis during the Revolutionary War. Each year features a var iety of historical tours and re-enactments.
